Appleblossom woke up from her slumber, stretching. It was slightly warm, but not anything to be sitting in all day. She saw several other cats, looking at small round objects, maybe twice the size of her own paw. She got out of her den, and found one in the bush near her.
"Is this on of those bird eggs? Why is it so brightly colored?" She moved it around slightly.

AppleBlossom sat down near it. She glared at it like it was something dead and smelly. She has never seen anything so brightly colored besides the occasional Blue Jay or Wood Pecker. She dug a small hole and buried it.
"Maybe there are more- Oh, you need to stop talking to yourself!" She skipped off, in a sudden good mood.

AppleBlossom went deeper into the woods, sun shining on her grey pelt. She sniffed around. She saw a light green egg under a dead leaf, and she went over to it.
"Found two green eggs! Is that the only color- no, it can't be... I saw another cat with a very bright orange." She noticed herself speaking to herself again. Dear Star clan I really need to stop that

AppleBlossom tried to pick up the egg with her mouth, but her teeth stabbed a hole in it, and part of the egg cracked. She tasted something bland. She stepped on the egg, seeing white and yellow. I thought eggs had babies inside

AppleBlossom was finding more eggs. The last one was disgusting. But the more she found, when she broke it, there were little treats inside. She started to like this.

Maybe it was badluck that that one egg had terrible stuff inside. AppleBlossom stopped wondering, and contined hunting for more.

AppleBlossom giggled at herself, why was she so into finding these eggs all of the sudden? She didn't know, and didn't really want to spoil her own fun. She was still hungry after some of the treats she had found.

AppleBlossom soon found more and more eggs. She was getting full, and decided to find something to carry her eggs that she was finding in.

She soon found a light blue basket weaved of wood. She looked inside it, and there was nothing. She went around, collecting every egg she found, even that one nasty one, inside. A couple still had treats inside, but she would save those for later..

AppleBlossom dragged her basket around, which was slowly getting filled with more neon eggs. She found egg after egg, not finding it too hard to find one. It seemed there was one each 4 feet. She found a golden one... It caught her eye fast.

AppleBlossom stared at it for awhile, and opened it. Inside was a yellow blob. She licked it and it was sweet, like honey. She bit into it, and it was really chewy and sweet. It got stuck on her teeth. She spat it out.
"Ugh, too sweet and chewy..."
